LED's aren't typically high voltage things. One molex connector should be more than enough for any number of led's. The sync controller is the only thing I've seen, but again, it's no a solution when you can't ALWAYS use all 9 ports. We buy it because no one software out there will allow one controller to run everything including memory and motherboard. Sad that it's under powered with just a single sata cable. The sync controller is the best thing TT has ever created in my opinion. With going by the fact the sync controller steps down as it lists above, and that the quads have 54 leds per, I would guess if it was capable that the recommendation would to only have 3 quads with nothing else, which would be a waste of upgrading to the sync controller. I only did it for a minute though because under voltage can cause more damage than over voltage. I have another ticket open in trying to get my new quads working, but decided to test my 3 quads with my sync controller that also has my cpu wb, pump, radiator light and 3x riing duo's (so all 9 ports of the sync controller filled). Up to 5 Riing Trio fans without connecting other PLUS series products Up to 4 Riing Trio fans while adding other PLUS series products.Ģ. To avoid causing damage to the port, the TT Sync Controller is allowed to be connected with:ġ. rated current of the SATA port is 5A (±5%). I know I saw it somewhere on TT's site, though it's not directly mentioned on the TT sync page, it was somewhere. I'm fairly certain the the sync controller isn't rated for the quad.
